Woodbridge Tide Mill Museum and a Company of Four present ‘Thrill at the Mill’ this Halloween

This year the Woodbridge Tide Mill Museum, along with the talented AmDram group ‘A Company of Four’ are hosting their first ever ‘Thrill at the Mill’ fright nights this Halloween. Guests will be entertained as the Mill (inside and out) becomes the stage for a selection of haunting characters inspired by the Tide Mill’s grizzly history. The spine-chilling evening will consist of consecutive session slots for the thrill-seekers to tour around the Mill at night.  These will start at 4:30pm and will go on until 9:45pm.  Tickets are £10, with students under 21 paying just £5 a ticket. Beowulf Music & Bar 4/5/19 The Tide Mill Living Museum welcomed a hardy audience for The Spirit of Beowulf Community Festival on Sat 4 May as musicians braved the on/off weather to belt out some classy tunes. The Mill Bar did steady business refreshing music fans and the Mill sheltered them when the hail started to sting!

Fabulous Friend's Drinks WONDERFUL to see so many Friends at the Friends of Woodbridge Tide Mill Drinks on Friday 3 May. A sight drizzle failed to deter a strong turnout to drinks and food supplied by Vernon from The Table, Woodbridge. Chins were wagged and the promising start to the season celebrated by all. Volunteer John Leming welcomed everyone and encouraged them to introduce more Friends to this wonderful old Mill. Friends of the Tide Mill Woodbridge gathered on Friday 26 Oct to hear a report from Chairman John Carrington about the Progress the Tide Mill had made during the 2018 season. John reported that initiatives like a new website, an improved social media presence, new volunteers, merchandise sales, increased use of Gift Aid, accounting developments and events like Beowulf and farmers' markets had paid off during 2018. Tide Mill supports Suffolk Farmers' Market Do come and say Hi and maybe buy some Tide Mill strong stoneground wholemeal Flour at Suffolk Farmers' Market between 10am and 4pm on Saturday week the 13th. Woodbridge Tide Mill, the only producer of stoneground very strong wholemeal flour in the area, will be selling both Fine and Traditional grades of its excellent product at the inaugural Farmers Market at Trinity Park on 13th October 2018. Already available through some local retail outlets in the Woodbridge and Ipswich areas the flour will be available in bags of 1.5, 6 and 12kg.
