Weights and Measures Exhibition
Woodbridge Tide Mill Museum Tide Mill Way, Woodbridge, Suffolk, United KingdomWeights and Measures gives the visitor a chance to view a rare Half and full bushel, French Platform Scales, the large Tide Mill balance scales and a newly acquired chondrometer. We hope this display will link the concept of density with mass and volume, introduce the simple machines that make up the mechanisms of the various scales and balances.
Jean Gardner/1968 Exhibition
Woodbridge Tide Mill Museum Tide Mill Way, Woodbridge, Suffolk, United KingdomRunning parallel with the Tide Mill’s 850th Anniversary, this Exhibit will be created to recognise Jean’s crucial and generous contribution to the preservation of this unique and iconic building. It will also highlight other significant moments during the year of 1968 to put it into temporal context.

Until then we're sorry but entry is limited to five visitors at a time and needs to be booked in advance. BOOK A VISIT HERE The limit on visitor numbers should end from Monday 19 July. If so, advance booking will end from that point. If the Government guidance changes, these arrangements will be modified to comply.

There will be three activities all based on the theme of renewable energy. Children can come along and do one or all three. Entry is free with just one adult admission.

It features a collection of period baking utensils, associated particularly with the baking of bread, and archival documents reflecting the importance of flour as a staple food in England.
