Two 3km Riverside Guided Walks 17 Sept

Woodbridge Historic Riverside Tide Mill Way, Woodbridge

There are 2 escorted walks during the day, one at 10am and one at 2pm. Both start from Woodbridge Station and finish at Melton Boatyard (Melton Station can be used to return to the start). The walks lasts approximately 2 hours and otary30 minutes. Boat building from Anglo-Saxon times today has always been associated with the Town of Woodbridge. This guided walk of 3km visits all the main riverside attractions. Starting from the Woodbridge Station, the walk visits the only current boatyard in the town. Walking the river path then passes Woodbridge Rowing club and The Cruising Club before reaching Whisstocks [...]

Easter Trail SAT 19 APRIL Woodbridge Historic Riverside Starting at the Tide Mill - 10:30 to 12:30 Woodbridge Tide Mill Museum, The Longshed, Woodbridge Museum and local businesses working together to provide a FREE Easter Egg Hunt for families. Find all the clues to claim a chocolatey prize! Children must be accompanied at all times. This is a free event run by volunteers. Donations are very welcome. Milling Demonstrations June 5th & 28th

Our friendly Millers will be demonstrating how we mill at the Tide Mill on Wed June 5th at 4:15pm Fri June 28th at 11am Witness how local grain has been milled for hundreds of years. Demonstrations will last as long as the millpond allows, at least 30 min, usually longer. No booking is required and each family gets a free Guide Book.
