Festive Regatta and Charity Street Market

Stalls from 12pm –4pm -Boat Parade at 12.30 -1pm
To celebrate the beginning of the festive season in style through and unite the many community groups of Woodbridge, festooned boats (Woodbridge Sea Scouts) will accompany Sae Wyfling (Woodbridge Riverside Trust) to form a mini Christmas Regatta.

Working its way down the Deben from the Sailing Club the boats will lead a parade to be followed by the public, ending at Whisstocks Boatyard.
On arrival the parade will be meet by Santa in his Sleigh (Deben Rotary Club) and Christmas songs performed by musicians curated by The Spirit Of Woodbridge.

The afternoon event will coincide with an opportunity for local charities to form a mini Christmas Market in which the Mill will have a stall and The BoatHouse and Coffee Link encouraged to create pop up stalls selling traditional festive treats. The proposed event offers a fun and memorable opportunity for community groups to collaborate in a unique event to showcase Woodbridge and kick off a calendar of exciting events in the town throughout December.
