Tools and Trades History Society visit

A great, well-informed group looks around the Mill

Established in 1983 as a Charity, the Tools & Trades History Society aims to advance the education of the general public in the history and development of hand tools and their use and of the people and trades that use them.

The group had a tour of the Mill and asked some probing questions. They even cast doubt on a particular hammer on display, commenting that, rather than being a Millers hammer, it was a cross pein hammer used by a London shoe-maker from the Leadenhall St area. How about that for forensic analysis!

Like many groups they had an informative, relaxed tour lead by our Senior Warden Steven Molyneux. If you want to bring a group to the Mill, at any time, contact enquiries.woodbridgetidemill@gmail.com
