HE helps Tide Mill build School Resource

Thanks to a generous grant from Historic England in early summer 2020 the Mill has been able to build it’s online education page to offer more to schools.

Subjects vary from the Mill’s relationship with, and reliance upon, the tides, the Mill in the history of Woodbridge, Mill maintenance, Levers, Pulleys and Gears, From Soils to Sandwich to more light hearted subjects like dust, beer and the Tide Mill cat”

The Mill has focussed on developing teaching aids and videos for teachers to help students at Key Stages 1, 2 and 3. The videos feature a Tide Miller, Sid and his wife, Eva.
