We are open! Join us in celebrating the full reopening of the Tide Mill! Reopening Plans We have finally fully reopened! Thanks to the current easing of restrictions, we are not limited to the number of visitors we can welcome at any one time and advance booking is no longer required. When visiting, we ask that all visitors wear masks, as will any volunteers and staff. Hand sanitisers will also be available within the Mill. National Writing Day Happy National Writing Day! Today we celebrate a local poet and dramatist, Thomas Wade. Wade, who was known as Wade Lavendar, was born in Woodbridge in 1805. At a young age after going to London, he published verse influenced by greats such as Byron, Keats, and Shelley.   Felixstowe Bakery Treats One of the Mill’s retailers - the Felixstowe Bakery has some wonderful homemade bread loaves for sale. This includes regular sourdough loaves and Tide Mill loaves, as pictured. Using flour made at the Mill, these loaves are on sale every Friday and Saturday, making them perfect for Sunday lunch or even a nice summer BBQ.
