Friends of the Tide Mill Woodbridge gathered on Friday 26 Oct to hear a report from Chairman John Carrington about the Progress the Tide Mill had made during the 2018 season.

John reported that initiatives like a new website, an improved social media presence, new volunteers, merchandise sales, increased use of Gift Aid, accounting developments and events like Beowulf and farmers’ markets had paid off during 2018. He praised the hard work of volunteers on the engineering, milling and guiding fronts as well as the many others that make the Mill work. Claire Perkins and Jan Pulsford gave an update about Beowulf 2019 – which will feature the Tide Mill prominently – and drinks and nibbles were enjoyed by a good turnout.
